FAQs

How do I obtain a receipt for my donation?

If you donate via our website, you will automatically receive a receipt by email shortly after your donation is processed. For other donation methods, we will post or email your receipt to you as long as we have your up-to-date contact information. 

Monthly donors: You will be sent an annual tax receipt by the end of April for the previous financial year. Please make sure that we have your current email or postal address to ensure timely delivery.

How do I claim my tax rebate in New Zealand?

For every donation you make, you can claim 33.33% as a tax credit. If you've donated in the last four years, you may be eligible—all you need is your donation receipt. 

Claiming your tax credit is simple, and it’s a great way to make the most of your generosity. Some supporters even choose to re-donate their rebate, helping their contributions go even further. For more information, click here

What are LBC’s bank account numbers for donations?

Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand is set up as a bill payee with most NZ banks. You can find us in your bank's list of bill payees through internet banking, or you can manually set up a payment using the details below:

Are you using telephone fundraising?

Yes, we are currently working with Unity4 and Cornucopia PO, two telemarketing companies that support Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC) in raising essential funds. Both companies are committed to helping people affected by blood cancer and share our passion for the cause.

Our telephone fundraising helps us reach new supporters, raise awareness of our work, and generate the ongoing donations needed to provide care, education, and research funding.

How do I change my Regular Giving donation?
