Eating well

A healthy and nutritious diet is important in helping your body to cope with the condition you’ve been diagnosed with, and its treatment. Talk to your doctor or nurse if you have any questions about your diet or if you are considering making any radical changes to the way you eat.

You may wish to see a dietician who can advise you on planning a balanced, safe and nutritious diet. If you are thinking about using herbs or vitamins it is very important to talk this over with your doctor first. Some of these substances can interfere with the effectiveness of chemotherapy or other treatment you are having.
